RedWing Heritage ‘Pecos’ Cowboy Boots

The classic pull-on Pecos boot offers exceptional toughness and durability suitable for a variety of heavy industrial work environments or those that just want to make a statement. Made from full-grain leather, these boots feature a unique design where nails cinch over to lock the heel securely in place, ensuring they only come off when desired. The Vibram® cork sole provides superior resistance to oil, gas, chemicals, abrasion, and heat, making them ideal for challenging conditions.

The history of the Pecos boot dates back to 1923 when the Red Wing Shoe Company opened a branch in Dallas, Texas, to tap into the growing Southwest market. This region, rich in ranches, plantations, and refineries, had a unique culture where cowboy boots, derived from Spanish riding boots, were popular. To cater to this market, Red Wing began producing cowboy boots in the late 1930s. By 1959, they had perfected the cowboy boot design and introduced the "Pecos" boot, named after a town in Texas. Red Wing trademarked the Pecos boot and created various styles. It quickly gained popularity among ranchers and farmers across the country, extending its appeal well beyond Texas and the Southwest. Now is your chance to become a little piece of history.

VANYX Luxury Camper

Vanyx wants to take camper vans into the luxury realm of Bentley and Rolls Royce — with a price tag to match. Built in Germany, the Vanyx uses a standard-size MAN TGE 180 4x4 chassis measuring 236 inches long. Vanyx installs upgraded air suspension with up to six inches of height adjustment and automatic leveling that can also be controlled from the driver's touchscreen. The massive roof extension helps with the luxurious interior. Made from carbon fiber, the roof houses two double beds. At the front is a queen-sized bed, with the rear slightly smaller. The roof means no conversion from daytime activities to nighttime rest is required. Below the sleeping area, the living space is well-appointed — but can't overcome the space limitations of the chassis. A dinette, bathroom, and expandable table make up the area. Off-grid power is provided by a 1,200Ah lithium-ion battery with an 800w solar array. LTE and satellite internet hardware keep campers connected in the wild. The Vanyx is priced at just under a million pounds.
