Canyon Disruptr CFR Road/Gravel Helmet

Canyon, known for its world-class race bikes like the Aeroad, is now expanding its innovation into head protection with the launch of two new high-performance helmets designed for road racing, cross-country, marathon, and gravel riding.

The new Disruptr CFR Road/Gravel helmet and Stingr CFR Aero Road helmet feature an advanced strap system developed by HighBar. This system enhances not only fit and comfort but also aerodynamic efficiency, offering a significant advantage in performance. Wind tunnel tests have shown that the HighBar strap can save up to 7 watts at 50 kph and even 10-20 watts at speeds of 60-70 kph, translating into a 33-second time gain over 100 km.

As part of Canyon Factory Racing (CFR), these helmets reflect the brand's commitment to cutting-edge research and development, utilizing top-quality materials and insights from industry experts and elite athletes. The Disruptr and Stingr helmets are already being used by Canyon athletes such as world champion triathlete Jan Frodeno, Unbound 2023 winner Carolin Schiff, and Olympic MTB athlete Luca Schwarzbauer.

These helmets also feature in Canyon’s “Find Your Freedom” campaign, demonstrating the brand’s dedication to combining safety, performance, and innovative design.

CINCH Kitchen Cruiser

Made from space-grade aluminum, Cinch's sturdy Kitchen Cruiser is a whole kitchen in a box — literally. It has stations for storage, prep, cooking, and cleaning, and is no wider than two feet fully folded down. When open, its width nearly doubles, offering running water for washing produce or filling pots, a gas burner for cooking, a separate wing for prepping, and internalized bins and drawers for utensils, cutting boards, plates, and more. To pack it up to go, simply clean up as you normally would and return the components to their starting points, collapse the legs, and fold it back up into its original box shape. To open it again at your next campsite, you do the opposite, and everything remains where you left it thanks to its walled-in design, which stops items from shifting or falling out while in motion. It's a kitchen that can go anywhere — with the conveniences you typically only find in your at-home setup, too.

BOSS Gunmakers

We love shooting, this is no secret and one of our favourite gunmakers are Boss. Unique amongst British gunmakers today in that it still builds guns by hand, exactly the same way as they were built in the 1920s and 1930s. The actions arrive as big billets of steel and they are all hand filed and shaped, hence each individual gun has a subtle shape of its own. No two guns are alike and every part of the gun is bespoke, from the type of rib required, action shape and so on. The lines of the gun or rifle are paramount to Boss, hence its lack of adoption of CNC machinery, which tends to turn out very similar guns.

Side-by-side guns take two to two-and-a-half years to build, while over-and-unders take three to three-and-a-half years to manufacture. Due to the individual, hand-built nature of each gun, a specific price cannot be quoted. The side-by-side and over-and-under guns are available in 12- to .410 bores. An exciting recent development is the reintroduction of over-and-under rifles in calibres .500, .470 and .375.
